DIY replace instrument cluster's light bulbs
Hi everyone
I recently replaced all of my instrument cluster light bulbs to LED. It turned out the way i wanted and it only took about 45 mins of my time. If you want to do this, you're doing it at your own risk. First, I follow the DIY instrument removal instructions from bythebay. This is the link http://www.infinitihelp.com/diy/gcou..._procedure.htm and this is my cluster http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/3706/dsc01084lh.jpg I remove all the OEM amber light bulbs on the back http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/2508/dsc01085b.jpg I've tried it first with #24 Blue Wedge based bulbs http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/7062/dsc01086ou.jpg and it was horrible because it only cost .99 cent at http://autolumination.com/74.htm but i was able to return them and got something else. This is what the cluster looks like after everything was done RIGHT. http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/4522/dsc01099r.jpg Autolumination has a variety of #24 LED bulbs especially the new matrix 5 led bulbs and i've heard they're really good and cost about $5.99 but I haven't tried them out myself yet. I'll try them sometimes down the road when i'm bored with my blue LEDs |
is it dull because ur illuminiation button is not all the way up?

it's actually bright. It's just my old camera acting up again so the pics look blurry and dull.
