I have 2 PIAA Wedge Bulb Type 168 LED's.

I have the PIAA 12v LED with no tint whatsoever. IT's the Wedge Bulb Type 168. "WHITE COLOR"

It is my understanding that this LED should fit as the city light in the 2006 Coupe headlights. I tried, but it seems impossible to get in. What to do?

Hey OC, isn't the housing going to shorten the life of the LED? I remember running through one post in each of the 06 threads saying something of this nature o.O

Is that because of the fog light? Ill hardly be using the fog anwyay.

So whats a better type of bulb to use ?

VEGAS_G35 Feb 26, 2006 07:38 PM

are you asking how to get to the bulb to replace it?

Sportcoupe35 Feb 26, 2006 07:41 PM

In my experience it is very hard to match 168/194 LEDs to HIDs.
Being such a small light...I'm thinking of just disconnecting it and not using it at all.
I don't think it'll matter, especially with PIAA Xtreme White foglights.

Hehe, I'm kind of the opposite, I'm thinking about having the city vs. the fogs ... I don't think there's a need for fog altogheter

Im asking why it wont fit. Oh well i gave up. I just went to Autobacs and got some PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow Wedge Bulbs instead, these fit easily.

Maybe the yellow city light and the PIAA 4000k H1 Fog will give a nice color when used at the same time, and some better visibility in fogy or rainy conditions.

Not matching is ok when there are only 2 lights. IMO

#1 light being the projector.
#2 light being fog+citylight.
