I still have the older iPhone 2G in perfect condition. My phone started malfunctioning about a month and a half ago so they replaced it under my applecare plan, so this phone is less than 2 months old. I put a full Zagg Invisishield on it so there are absolutely no scratches and it also comes with a glossy black Incase Slider plastic case.

It is in perfect working condition running 3.1.3 software (but you can downgrade if you want to jailbreak using many different websites)
