Check for issues with the compression rods...

Check for issues with the compression rods (clunking sounds from front suspension). Problems opening and closing the hood due to bent hood hinges. Problems with the trunk opening due to wiring issues.

Nissan actually has a redesigned one that is supposed to work better. The new part number is 14935-JF00B. I got an after market one last year and the stupid code is coming back now.

Pull back the rubber coating of the wiring harness and you'll probably find some frayed wires.

I can tell you this, a generic reader won't read / reset the Airbag light. I have a ODB II cable for my laptop and it can clear and read the engine and other sensors but not the air bag one.
