Classic case of the floaters in the tank. They get dirty over time and don't work right. I had mine removed and cleaned. Solved the problem for about a year.

Was gonna say definitely go for the 6MT but congrats on the purchase. You should install a Trans-Go valve body shift kit. Worth every penny!!!

You can't. Just break it off and replace the clip...

You can't. Just break it off and replace the clip that goes on the under tray. I wouldn't even bother. they seized up and always snap.

If a G35 is what you really want, go for it. Just make sure to have a good set of winter tires so don't cheap out. My G was slightly lowered and I went through a few sets of tires. Full tank of gas...

G35 19" rays clears those Alliance BBK 8/6 pistons 15"/14" rotors with room to spare. So absolutely no problems at all with Akebono's.
