Make sure the car is level when draining and filling the diff.
Fill in as much tranny oil as you drained. Then go through the gears and check the level with the dipstick to make sure it's good.

If you are referring to the G's weight and dimensions as being the flaws then you are correct, compared to a Z34 it's a pig which is why I added "other than size/weight".

The V36 shares the same chassis/subframes/suspension/drivetrain as the Z34. Other than weight/size, I don't quite understand what "significant fatal flaws" exist that renders this car absolutely...
