No prob fellas, glad i could help. Now that you know how the motor works, its unfortunate that eventually every window motor for the Z and G's will fail. At least now we've got very cheap fix that...

yeah just cut one of the wires, and yes you'll have to sand down the length of the brush to make it fit, and make sure the curve corresponds with the shape of the magnet.

this is the part number of the brushes i use "tri13504nt" hope that helps. the hobby store are not supplying them as much as they use to, due to the new RC Motors being brushless...unfortunately...

Yeah man, only found them at certain hobby shops....alot of hobby shops dont even carry these brushes. Apparently alot of the new RC motors are brushless.

oh ok, yeah im pretty sure they are the brushes and that your tracks are ok. Its not that too bad, just time consuming. when you open it up, you'll see how the motor works, and then you'll sadly...

im not sure man....where did you get the 2nd motor from? if its new then you should have new brushes in there and should last longer than a month...if you got it from someone else (used), then odds...

The window reset lets the motor know how far up it goes and how far down, its for the auto up and auto down on the switch, or when you roll down from your remote.

Sup guys. Binder over at my350z had this great write up on repairing the window motor for less than a dollar. So thought i'd bring it out to you guys cuz i think the G35 motors are the same as the Z....
