stock 05 coupe or 08 sedan???

i have what to me i consider to be a pretty clean 05 g35 coupe. its basically stock besides some vinyl on the roof and a carbon fiber duckbill trunk (but i also have stock trunk). and i dont plan on changing much more just because i know if i ever do sell it wouldnt be worth much more than i put in. im the second owner and have all paper work and the car is in perfect condition, fully loaded with nav, sport suspension, 19'' oem rays wheels and 130xxx on the odo. but basically what my recent debate has been is that the 08 g35 sedan would be a nice small upgrade and change up. ive heard before that the sedans feel sometimes more powerful than the coupes, and being an 08 they look like more like a g37 or of that generation. so whats your guys opinions and thoughts? worth it? how much money would it cost in the end? trade in or sell?

never wanted to get rid of this car but at least it wouldnt be much of a change

You are probably going to have to bring money to the table if you traded your car in at a dealer and got an '08. Even if you sold your car, and bought a clean '08, you still might have to add a few bucks as well.

2007-2008 sedan was 306HP. Not that much more than your car. They are a tiny bit lighter just due to not having structural bars in the doors that coupes have to meet side impact regs.

If you can swing a 2009+, it would be a bit of a HP boost, with the sedans getting 330HP with the 3.7L. Of course, pricing climbs as well.

Clean your car up, demod it, and list it for sale. Use that as a downpayment and go get a newer car if you want. I'd think that now, at 130K, you might reach a point where the higher you go in miles, the value might drop more and more. Around 150K, a lot of people might get turned off.
