Have any of you encountered three Toyota Celicas with Action packages and a lot of noise in nothern California in the east bay??
I ran into them on 880 northbound around Fremont saturday about 2:40 am, they teased me and I smoked them, slowed down and let them catch up and smoked them again, than i just cruised at 70mph and they looked upset!!
Kept on teasing me but after two triple killings i was satisfied.
They probably thought an old man like me did not race anymore, I feel sorry for my girlfriend she had never been any faster than 90 mph in an auto, she was delighted but terrified that she went 120 mph.
As she put it, " A bitter-sweet experience" But for me it was sweet.
I normally do not race but i wanted to show them some humility, I don't think I did instead they looked upset and angry! So be it!
In my days if we got beat we accepted it and went on, now they cry like babies!

Their faces did not look so happy !!
I am sure I will see them again, it seems they live in Union City , thats where they cut out .

I had a similar experience that tbusguru had near the beginning of the year, near the same place. I was driving home late at night, hardly anyone around, going 80mph on 880 in the lane second from the left. Some car in the fast lane, back there a ways decided to start hauling ***. I knew it wasn't a cop, so right a little before it gets alongside of me, I downshifted into fourth and punched it. The car never passed me, and the distance between us started to increase before I decided to shut down.

Turns out it was a white Celica and we both exited Mowry! I don't live in Fremont anymore, so I haven't seen him again, but if he was one of the guys playing around with tbusguru, he should have learned the first time around. [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img]

there was a yellow one over in pleasanton that wouldn't stop revving on me. We were stuck behind cars, what the heck am I supposed to do. He's trying to call me out when we have no where to go.

We finally get to the front of the line at a stop light and the fool is still revving. As soon as we take off he hangs a right. that ticked me off so much.

Besides that one, celica's are always trying to race G35's for some reason.

i down for in and out, i work not too far from there, was just there tonite for quick lunch, i see many Celica's but have had chance to race them, then again i usually just lQQk other way, not worth the risk...s.w.

But Limeg35 is absolutely correct We know they are easy ti beat , they just have to accept it, they eventually will!!

PS. Limeg35 did you see the PB pedal in my profile??it is side by side with a nissan pattern one.(fabricated just for you!LOL)

Yuichi sells the aluminum set from Nissan I believe. the "PB" pedal I had to make my self, It does not come in the set.

I'm an old man I get up early, LOL, I feel the end nearer and I have to take advantage of life,[img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]
I start at six every day, but do get off early, 2:30 pm.

oh ya, I remember nissan boxes laying around. I just remember them trying to make steel plate covers to fit over the foot rest.

Yup I work 5-2. When I get home I just go to sleep till 5pm, so it doesn't matter if I work 8-5 or 5-2, I still spend my day the same.
