UPS man dropped these off for me today... so off to the tire shop I went and here are my new shoes...

Don't mind the picture quality taken with phone's camera.

biGnasty35 Jan 12, 2010 06:06 PM

lower and maybe a little wider fender....

SpEcToR Jan 13, 2010 02:59 AM

definitely go lower.

I love the axis shine, second favorite axis wheel!

I think you probably should have gone for a little more of a stretch and done a 275 and then go lower. But, there's always the next set of tires ;)

Looks great man.

Nice be careful tho! Curbbing axis is like carving up lead, they are soft and curbing looks like somebody took a file to em and left the shavings hanging on, LOL.

+1 on that.
they look decent, but be careful like the guy above said.
my buddy with his 350z ran axis' as his first set of wheels and barely grazed a curb and it tore the lip like it was made of butter.

I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks. I'm usually pretty good at not curbing wheels... its just the wifey i gotta watch for. =P. I got 285 for that reason, to protect the lip with the looks of beefy rear wheels. i'll like into 275 next time to see what that's gonna look like. Also, oddly i randomly rub in front if I hit a dip or hump hard enough with this setup. every research i've done says 245 will clear just fine. I already rolled the rear fender and didn't think about doing the front as if it can be rolled any.

looks ok... are your headlights painted black? is so, swap them back, will match better with the wheels. maybe later add 10mm spacer front and rear with 275 tire. flush look.
