As posted above, the 06+ projectors use the HID bulb for low and high beam. It's simply a shield in front of the light, and when you turn on the high beams, it raises the shield and allows the light to go higher.

I bought an 03 and left the lights stock until I upgraded to new 06+ projectors. So I have no personal suggestions for high beam bulbs.

before (city lights 6 led white-blueish)

after

I redid the Clearence lights (City lights) to 12 Led white...
I replaced current fog lights to HIDS (5000k or 6000k I believe,Xentec brand) once u replace the stock bulb to HID there is no more HIGH beam btw.
My Headlight D2R is 6000k Xentec brand.

Weird how your 12 smd look more white than my 5smd. I'm wondering if I should buy 8000k headlights to match. Should I also buy 8000k fogs? Not sure on the fog lights acceptable bulb.

Very interesting...does it look that well matched in real life? I've messed with multiple setups and I just cannot get a 6,000k match between the lows and fogs. The difference between the aftermarket ballast and OE ballast is causing my lows to be more white and fogs to have that slight blue. The closest I could get to matching was an 8,000k low and 6,000k fog setup, but it was too blue for me and I needed it to be whiter.

Could you detail exactly what you've used in your setup?

And it looks very good btw!

I got so fustrated trying to match them I just went with 6,000k lows and 3,000k fogs, hah.

Im trying to do the same thing. Match my lows and the fogs. Bought some 5000k "hyper white" fogs and it turned out to be yellowish just like the OEM fogs.
my ideal setup is color-matched lows, fogs, clearance strip and corners. But right now my lows, fogs, clearance and corners are all different shades of white!

sTeadFasT96: It matches perfectly in real life as well.

The 6000K in my headlights were from Marinelli Motorsports (vendor on here)

The 6000K in my fogs I actually don't know what brand they are (I got one of my friends to black out and install the halo's in my headlights, and he picked up the 6000K fogs for me at the same time)

You need to get HIDs, those "hyper white" halogen bulbs will never get you the the color or intensity you want.

Any chance you could possibly see where your friend got them (if they aren't local)? The matching looks really good. I might want to go back to all white lights as opposed to my white/yellow.

Yea I figured...

I bought some a couple years back that actually lived up to their "hyperwhite" for my civic and thought it'd be the same
