Pics of my '07 Coupe on coilovers, OEM 19's and spacers
Hi all, just thought I'd share my '07 coupe I bought last month. It was stock when I bought it, or so I thought. Found a few surprises, test pipes (thought the exhaust sounded louder than usual, haha), MREV2 lower, plenum spacer, Z Tube and K&N drop in.
I recently added the coilovers, SPC front and rear camber arms and 25mm spacers all around. Need to go lower in the rear but for now its as low as it will go with a collar removed. I recently found out that you're not supposed to use the bottom rubber mount when using the supplied bottom aluminum mount on these coilovers (Megan). Thought that would produce some harsh vibrations/noises. Guess I'll find out when I take it out. Anyway, on to the pics. I know I need to refinish the wheels. http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...2_-3_fused.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...2_-3_fused.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...2_-3_fused.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...2_-3_fused.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...2_-3_fused.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...2_-3_fused.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...2_-3_fused.jpg http://i236.photobucket.com/albums/f...2_-3_fused.jpg |
Nice G bro looks good
|
Congrats on the new car, that G is mint.
|
I'll always have love for OEM 19's.
Since your car came with those power mods, all you need is a good exhaust and a Osiris tune. |
its my twin lol
|
do you think you can fit 30mm spacers in the rear? thinking about 30 in the rear and 25 in the front.
|
Clean. Four doors would look better imo, I'm biased tho.

I've been chasing the common pinging issue and just put 100 octane in the car and the ping went away. That's what led me to the Osiris tune, was hoping they could make a map for me that would allow me to use the crappy 91 octane water we have in Vegas. Anyone? |
the tune will help with that. im getting my fenders rolled tm, im like an inch lower than you tho. so are you taking out your spring mount or something?
|
i just noticed your right rear side is higher than your left rear side, i just lowered the right side more to make it look even.

Well, I used the bottom rubber spring mount and the supplied bottom aluminum spring mount together as suggested by the instructions and other people on the forum using search. I talked to the vendor I bought them from and he says that he doesn't use the OEM bottom rubber mount and it is fine. Im going to try it and see what happens. |

Did you use the OEM bottom rubber mount on your coilovers? What CO's do you have? |
i have tein comfort sports and i also cut a half inch cut off my spring mount(the upper rubber piece) and i am showing 4 threads on the left rear and bottomed out on the right rear with the collar still there.
i never heard of removing any rubber pieces sounds like it would do damage. |
