I've been modding the sedan lately

Since there isn't a whole lot more I can do to my coupe without spending a lot of money, and since my sedan needed new shocks and had a camber issue even on stock springs, and since I had the Brembos from my coupe handy (after installing the Rotora BBK on it), and since I won a set of Cobb Tuning sway bars at a raffle, I decided to put them all together on the sedan.

I also added stainless Stoptech brake lines, R1Concepts drilled and slotted rotors in the Brembo configuration, stock 350Z rear springs, and Tein 350Z S-Techs up front with Tokico D-Specs all around, and SPC camber arms front and rear, with the toe bolts. I took the D-Specs and the S-Techs off of my coupe after I bought a set of BC Racing coilovers.

The tires were wearing on the insides even on stock suspension, so I decided to get the camber kits, and figured I might as well lower it as well. I first installed the S-Techs all around but the rear springs made the rear wheels tuck inside the fender wells. I also rolled the rear fenders. The OEM Z springs leveled the rear even with the front.

After getting it aligned today, the ride is so much better, but not harsh at all. And the ride hight is much improved, as is the stopping ability. I think I'm about done with mods on this car though.

Here are a few pics.

The rear was tucked with the S-Techs in the rear.

With OEM Z springs in the rear.

Both G's.

So you had a four wheel alignment? I don't have the kits yet, but would a toe end check help my high speed stability any?

Ah it has started!

Mr. Gilley round 2 :)

That's a great start.

Sedan looks awesome with the brembos, you really should get the bottom portion painted though.

Great start, but the sedan looks like crap next to the coupe. You can't stop now! Get the aero kit and some rims

Z springs really improved the stance of that car. Looks great, good work, Gilley, wanna do mine?

Yes, 4 wheel alignment.

I don't know if the tow check would help with the high speed atability. I'd suggest getting the kits and getting the alignment done then.

I am pretty sure I'm about done on this one. I can't afford to go full blown on the sedan. My wife has to drive it sometimes.

I'd love to if it were inexpensive.

:lol Actually I think the Sedan looks gorgeous... It defintely has more presence,
when with the coupe in the picture. Both cars complement each other.

bert039 Jan 10, 2008 11:26 AM

;) Don't get me wrong, the sedan looks good. Its just that the coupe looks so much more completed.

Paint the lowers to match and you're done.

Ah just see if they'll make you an even larger kit for the sedan! Maybe some 16-pot with 16" rotors! :D
