I sanded the face and top side of the rails as much as I could get my fingers into. I also did the entire top portion of the grille

Great job! I too am interested in the exact paint you used - if you have the brand and product number it would be greatly appreciated. Also any farther away pics? I really like the OEM grille on your car.
Duplicolor Bumper Coating is what I used...in the black (I forget the exact color name but there is only one black)

I'll try to get some different pics up this week.

Thanks guys

I haven't done a set yet that has the clouding in the inside but I have seen someone on the boards (might of been G35lin) do some sort of etching on the inside. Not sure what was used to remove it though..sorry.

I would first try the usual Plastix then maybe move onto something more abrasive if that didnt work. There are some other chemicals sold online that are suppose to work well for headlight restoration. All are for removing the cloudiness specifically from the outside though.

Hey man I am in no rush. I wouldn't mind being the guniea pig to it!!! Trust me, I'm sure it would come out better than you, me, or anything could imagine. Let me know, I'll be down for it whenever!!

Chris..I'll let you know

BKZJAYY
Duplicolor Bumper Coating is the name, I got it at Kragen Auto Parts by my house. Spray handle?

I worked on my headlights with a couple of friends but have done a set on my own and am doing another set on my own this weekend. I'll post pics of that set early next week or Sunday night.

No, you dont need a spare set....you can DIY. Read through this thread. There are also other threads out there on this subject.

PM me if you have questions from there.
