haha im in rhode island. we only got about 8-10 inches....i park at the end of the complex so noone parks near me (thats my girls car directly next to me). we just moved into the place over the summer so I had no idea the drifts would be that bad in those spots. we got screwed

Fresh snow storm here today. So i did what any X owner would do...brush off his/her car and go for a drive!
Even with crappy A/S tires, i couldn't get stuck! I was plowing up hills at 30-45* angles with no probs at all! Pretty much just point, hit the gas pedal and sip my coffee as the car went through everything!
I can only imagine how it would be with snow tires! Days like today make me glad i chose an X over a 6MT.
WHat I woke up to

This is actually one of the better roads. It's pretty packed down. Some roads were 6" of snow i had to plow through. You can tell we are in a recession...first snow storm of the season and the plows were nowhere to be seen. Only really saw a few city plows. The number of contractors was WAY down this year

And of course...the X

I was driving around my girls IS250AWD and it's pretty damn good in the snow too. Here it is in front of my G as we were cleaning out the driveway

Saw a RWD G35 sedan stuck today. Guy had on 20" rims and judging by the crazy tread patter on his tires - summer only tires.
He kinda just threw it halfass into a parking spot and left the car

i just saw your sig. i definitely saw you over on 117, by the mobil. you were stopped in traffic and i did the full head turnaround when driving by when i saw your primer spots...getting rid of the doggy door?
Was out again today driving in the snow storm. I'm just loving the X in snowy conditions!
I didn't take any pics today though. One thing i like about Black...when the car is clean, it sticks out like a sore thumb in a snowstorm. As i was making my errands, i kept looking back and thinking "Damn, my car looks better in a snowstorm than it does when it's nice out!"
