I may be asking this in a biased thread, but you guys know a ton on fitment. This spring I am looking to get some new wheels, I have decided on 19” Forgestar F14’s. I can’t decide on width however. I have an X so I want the same all the way around. I don’t like the staggered look or the stretched look, but I do like things to be more flush than stock, nothing too crazy though. I can’t decide between 19x9 or 19x8.5 all the way around.
How would a fairly flush setup do with 9’s in the front? I am at stock height right now, would I need to roll my fenders? Any clues on what kind of offsets I would need to get a uniform flush look all the way around? FYI, I live where there is a ton of snow, and even worse drainage ditches and spillways that make dropping the car a PITA. If I drop it at all it would only be ½” to an 1” because this is my DD and I don’t want to be freaking every time I pull out of a parking lot or driveway. Thanks in advance |
Okay fitment Gurus...
Looking at a set of wheels in the following sizes 19x8.5 et22 19x9.5 et25 Will these buggers fit with a fender roll and what size tires do you recommend? I'm thinking 235/35 and 245/35 would be a safe bet... |
2 Attachment(s)
They will easily fit with a fender roll. As for tire size, it depends on what look youre going for. 225/35's look great on a 9.5 for a nice stretch, it's what I got on my 9.5's up front...let me see if i can find pics...
Attachment 237805 Closer up (don't mind fitment of bumper and sidemarkers...they had a battle with the pavement and came out as a winner with some minor bruises :D): Attachment 237806 If you don't want as much of a stretch then stick to 225/35 on the 8.5 and 245/35 on the 9.5 (to keep the tires looking the same). *edit: just to add..i was on a 9.5 +3 in front with factory camber and a little bit of a roll up front. The rear, different story, just roll it flat and you'll be cool. |

Fitment gurus! Looking to buy a set of Advan TCII (18 X 9.5) ET 35.
Looking to do a mild stretch on 245s. Can someone send me a pic of how this might look? |
Search for a memember name bowzer and you will see a 18x9.5 with a 245 on there. But be warn you will have to slam your ride due to wheel gap.

what camber kits are u guys running in the back i was looking into SPC but i didnt know whether to just go with the "bolt" kit or the "arm" set up...
|
^Get rear camber arms with toe bolts. You'll need both. If you just get camber arms then you won't be able to get your toe back within spec, which is important because without them you'll go through your tires very quickly.
|
thank you candlestick any preferred brands?
|
SPC rear camber arms + toe bolts will do just fine.

sorry to go off topic - but I posted this question in the wheel section and general G section (no responses)... maybe my sedan brutha's can help me (and this thread has the offset experts):

this is in the wheel section... but sometimes people don't visit there often - so I'm looking for help here too...
I have sedan with slightly flared fenders... no G sedan or coupe offset works right for me... I realize I could get new custom offsets (or even existing offsets in some cases) - but I'm trying to avoid buying new again (the Volks I have aren't that old and I paid too much and waited too long to want to do it again) So... Does anyone know what car might use the following sizes/offsets (so I can search for used) within a mm or so: 8.5 +15 9 +21 9.5 +28 10 +34 tia |
