Recently installed Stillen rear valence
I thought I'd post this up since there are so few pics of these valences installed on sedans. A couple weeks back I finally got around to painting my Stillen rear valence and installing. The valence is urethane and due it's long and narrow construction, it's quite flimsy. Like my side skirts, I painted the valence myself in my garage with a $40 paint gun and a PPG single stage paint (clear and OEM paint in one). My original plan was to paint it and then install it, but I didn't have faith that the paint could handle all the test fitting and twisting of an install. I choose to install it on the car, tape off the car, and paint the valence. IMO, this is probably the best way to go because you want parts in the position they're mounted.
For those that are wondering, the valence mounts by removing the plastic skirt just aft of the rear tire. The valence slides up and uses the OEM bolt to fasten itself to the car. You then use 3M double sided tape to hold up the rest of the valence.
Here are some pics and like I've said numerous times, black cars photograph like crap.

Looks good Dave. Nice job on the paint.
In addition to the stock mounting points on the sides I tacked up the underside in the middle with a couple of fender clips:
Got them on ebay 20 for $5: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT
