anmblackG's G35 Sedan on VIP Modular VR05s / Marcus Cooke Photography
I first met Adler at the Sedan GTG I in 2009. He drove his clean Sedan down to SoCal for the meet. He also made it out the the GTG II just a few months ago. Recently he picked up a new set of wheels (VIP Modular VR05s) so we did a shoot when I was in the Bay Area a few weeks ago. Ride looks great Adler, very nice work!

so cleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeean.
Very nice setup, clean and understated, I really love it.
Also those wheels are $$$, I once emailed VIP Modular and asked for a quote and got something like $6k for a set. I was all like 'gtfo'. |
Great pics Marcus. N also nice car adler
is there a rear lip on that rear bumper? What is it? Do they have one for 05 sedans?
^ Yes, Nismo, No
Its a Nismo rear lip. It does not fit an 05 Sedan without swapping to an 03-04 bumper (which I and 1 other 05-06 Sedan have done). The Nismo rear lip is no longer made, Ionic will be releasing a replica soon, but you'll still need to do an 03-04 bumper (and mudguard, not to be confused with splashguard) swap.
Thanks again Marcus for all your work and the time you had to put in with the editing. I sure would like an emblemless grill. I hope Ionic makes one for an 03-04. I'm debating on changing the trunklid someday. Wingless? Doggy door delete? Dori Lux or Strafe trunklid?
Dang sucks nothing for 05 cause that rear lip makes that rear end look super nice and not over done either
One of the cleanest sedans with a doggy door.
doggy door FTW!
great pics and very clean car.
Marcus your photos always has the same exposures, which is awesome. Is this achieved by PP or do you just have your camera settings down pat? Now that i starting to get into photography, i have a greater appreciation of ur work. My pictures are either too dark or over exposed and so on. I understand what makes them dark and over exposed but i just cant seem to get the perfect combo.. |

What time of day are you shooting? I would suggest shooting in nice even soft light within an hour of sunset. Light is a huge part of photography. |

Are you using tripods on those shots and I noticed that rig shots are incorporated in your latest shoots, which is awesome! |
Cloudy weather is actually very good natural light photography. Make it so you can shoot anytime of the day and get even/soft light.
I always use a tripod for sure with a remote or the timer function. At the time of day I shoot there isn't enough light to handhold without shooting at higher ISOs and a wide open aperture. I only do rig shots if people pay for them, they cost a little extra since the edit time on them is much more than static shots.;) |
