Hotdawwgman's Official Build Thread!

Hey guys... i have seen a lot of people do there progression so i guess i will do on also... Some info about my car is, that it is a 2004. Desert Platinum with Aero Package being the only option. No sunroof, no Bose.. nada.. so no squeaks, rattles, etc. Originally it had a tan interior, but you will see through the progression... Bear with me that some of my mods i dont really take pics of them, but whatever...

This is my FIRST ever meet... it was OC meets SD meet in Oceanside...

This was the first time that i met all the SD guys... i was so amazed by the style that just made me want to mod my car...

the cruise down the Coast was pretty cool too... Oh... I was the only person to roll from the OC to this meet too!

1st mod... New Rotors from OCAutosports.com (Fail Brakes Set #1)

Rear shot with the brakes and re-badged as a Infiniti Skyline 350GT

Next mod... Clear Corners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next mod... Flat Black Grille

Next came removal of sport spring for some Coupe H-Techs

Next was the JDM Battery Cover that I won at the HB Meet!

And then the Stillen Z-Tube with K&N Drop-In Filter along with JDM Plate

Semi-slammed G

Then this day, i spent a Day with my buddies for some TLC on my car, and a proper Detail... I learned how to Buff out my HeadLights!

Lookin So fresh and So Clean

Car Lookin good!

Phil looking all cracked out

Mr. Fix it Alan

After all the cars were done!

Fail Re-badging #2 that didnt stay to long!

My First Avatar

2nd Gen Sport Wheels... Other car is JarJarXG with 08 M sport wheels

I was the first with these wheels on a 1st gen Sedan

OEM 19's

And Now Here is a Really Bad day! but i had gotten 05-06 Tails for Free a couple days before all this!

Working and hanging out with Friends for 48 straight equals a bad day!

So i took her in and her were some of the teaser shots that i took...
Mind you i have one of the last of Rookie's original Karookie Bumpers... Before 4drmadness had him make another set... so i was pretty Stocked on getting a rare bumber and all...

And a teaser of my Molded rear-lip, and also went back to the 2nd-gen wheels

Official Shot of my car!

Lowered on Basics Now!

New Mod... Tanabe Exhaust... one of a few that have this BIG Hanging Exhaust...

Slammed G Sedan!

Learning to drive a lowered car is kinda tricky... 3 months later i hit the bumper, but thank god for the original cast, because it didn't crack, it was all absorbed into the Fender...

Nice Sunset while at one of the Irvine Spectrum meets!

Now the Biggest pain in my A$$ Mod is the Interior swap to Black... I am 90% done... but some of you should remember these pics...

2010...
Time to Finally Fix the Bumper and the Fender... Plus some other stuff...

How about shaving the Door Moldings...

And lets get rid of the Ironing Board Spoiler...

Replacing the Fender

Sculpting the Spoiler

Filling in the Emblem holes

Hehehe... I also have a pic of my wheels!

Getting ready for Paint...

Thats all for now... Thanks for looking guys!

How the heck did you do that to your rims?!

Your car has come a long ways. Didn't know you had 19s for a while.

Looks great! Are you changing up the color of the car too? If you can share - would be interested to know how much all of the exterior work is setting you back. Keep up the good work!
