Someone needs to make a DIY for every interior piece removal on a coupe.

For some reason, electrical parts just scare me! and then that recent reply about that guy who's VDC and some other light was remaining on after the paddle installation? :S scary.... lol

I actually removed the center console piece earlier today to take a look at the underside... and then I put it back lol I didnt have small screw drivers to attempt to even remove ashtray. So i put the console back and decided on the rear AC vent instead.

Im gonna complete everything and leave the centre console last. The more I sit in my car, im actually liking having everything else CF'ed except for the center console. I like the contrast and the way it makes the center console center of attention. So we'll see how I feel when I complete the door trims.

hmm that's weird about the VDC remaining on...i took my car into my dealer to get the paddles installed (btw my dealer will cover mods that they installed if they fail and obviously they are mod friendly). if you are scared, u can always take it to yours. anyway, i digress. keep carbon fibering!

Soni Feb 16, 2009 08:58 PM

that is sick Wes!!

EWG35 Feb 16, 2009 09:22 PM

You should just CF parts in your steering wheel and wheel shrouds then you will have no reason not to plug in the paddle shifters. :D

How do you wrap that CF like thin cloth? Is it that flexible? I have used 3M 77 - I have a dozen cans in my basement and I don't recall it being super sticky. How thick is your CF and where did you get it? Looks like you are doing a very nice job.

NICE!!! keep up the hard work and keep those pics coming!
