BC's on my 08X

So the weather finally got nice enough to put my wheels on and sit it down with some coils. Wheels are EXE Konvex 20x9 +35 (spacer soon to come) and 20x10 +37 with 245/35R20 and 285/30R20. Lovin the way the BC's ride. Especially coming from stock struts with H&R's. Just a couple pics I snapped with my phone.

Nice drop. What's an X doing all the way in Reno. Your car is a good example for the other people with an X that keep asking about staggered wheels.

Reno is about an hour outside of Lake Tahoe. We never get more than 6" of snow on most occasions but AWD does come in handy when we do.

BC coils looks great! how did u set it up? are you at lowest or highest setting in the picture.

lundy Apr 20, 2011 03:37 PM

I'd say middleish. They have a lot of adjustment in the height department though. They do benefit those who like to go low IMO though

which ride felt more like stock...the HRs or Bc coils. your car is sitting real nice, but if i were to get them i would raise it half a finger higher. roads around here are pretty bad.

ChinkyChoy Apr 21, 2011 12:07 AM

just noticed this

you have an X in cali??

drivethefive Apr 21, 2011 12:25 AM

noticing any problems with the height? read all through the thread "calling all x's with a lowered suspension" and people were concerned about a lot of issues w/ a drastic drop. Def looks nice though...

I hated the H&R's. I had bad luck with them. They bottomed out frequently

Nope I'm in Reno NV/Lake Tahoe. Were sittin on 25ft of base in the mountains still. I'm gonna be riding in the summer. Wakeboard one day snowboard the next lol. The plates are Cali cuz that's where I bought the car (big bear) and I have till June till I need to transfer to NV.

Not as of yet. I do get a little shimmy from time to time upon acceleration from 0-10 sometimes (happened with springs too) but besides that it seems fine. I think they might be talking about clearances as far as issues go.

If Im getting the coils the BC coilovers is my choice as well, i already know and did my research =)
BTW are your coils have swift/assist springs in them, or just coil springs without any assist?
