I was close to selling the G but Im going to hold off for another year or so. Decided to give the car a little refresh so I painted the wheels and brought back the vinyl overlay. Everything is OEM aside from the ravspec rear spats. Engine is stock aside from UpRev tune. Only one more thing coming and thats blacking out the window trim. Other than that, its done until I decide to sell. Pics...

Looks great! Good decision to hold off another year imo since it will give you a few more options to choose from with Q50 and a few other new models rolling in while you enjoy another year in this G but of course with a newer shape the value of the older shape goes down too so its a win loss situation i guess

Great color on the wheels. What car are you looking at for replacing the G?

ideally, Im looking at a c63 AMG or the 2014 M3 sedan.

Damn nice aspirations
Bat, if you need a DIY for your window trim here you go, it's cheap & easy :)

Nice. If I had to choose one, I'd go with the merc.

Hey bat,
I take it those are still the S springs you installed (as opposed to the X)?

Looks great and yes, the c63 amg is an excellent beast. That v8 growl it has is amazing.

yup, S springs all the way around. front could be .5in lower but like I said, im done with the suspension.

You should probably include a "gently used" GTR to your wish list :)

I know it's on mine :)

Looks great regardless!
I still have a set of S springs sitting in a box, ready to swap out my eibachs for a bit more comfort. The X springs, like you know, are too high and your setup looks perfect.

You mind sharing what profile tires those are on your 19's?

bat6wc Jun 29, 2013 12:28 AM

btw guys, my oem journey lip is now for sale....

bat6wc Jul 2, 2013 07:38 PM

so now I think i am going to purchase a set of tanabe nf210 springs and just use the fronts to lower the front just a tad. anyone want a set of tanabe rear springs? :dunno:

johnnyzee Jul 3, 2013 05:33 PM

how bout your stock x spring in the back to lift it up a bit for more level/slightly raked forward look?

bat6wc Jul 3, 2013 05:34 PM

im rocking the S springs which have the rear as low as I want. Everything I have seen online, shows the front drop of the Tanabe to match my rear. I may also go back to swift springs...

good luck bat, hope it works.
