That being said, I saw a civic with them two nights ago. :(

Not saying I don't think they look good though, because they do.

+1 on that. was just actually reading that thread, people bashed them, now they see clearly it looks good. besides in canada i dont think its stock but the new porsche's even have LED, even audi was the first one.

yeah the way i did it in my opinion looks more like the way the new porsche's have them..

I'm having a hard time deciding, but I don't think I'm a fan of these led strips on our cars. It looks great on the new audi's and porsche's, but just kind of looks cheap on our cars... Feel free to disagree, but IMO it's just not right.

hey Troy, I'll post up some night shots later, as i haven't really taken any. here one for now. these are bright and blue as hell, and will really look out of place at night if you are not running either really high Kelvin cheap bulbs, or color-modded lens on your projectors.

Those look good Pat. I have 6000K bulbs and the rest of my LEDs in front and corners are white with blue tint so they would match nice. Did you use the 3M tape to stick to your bumper or are you using the zip ties to mesh as well. Im afraid someone will snip them off some night if I just zip tie them on.

I think pat used 3M Tape,
i used the thick black zip ties

Main question is if the LED are facing out or up.

iamericgee Aug 31, 2009 11:56 AM

I like this. I would appreciate a DIY as well to achieve results similar to Pat's!
