Hey Kool Yaar. I was going through some TB cleaning threads and wanted to ask you if you unhooked your battery before performing the cleaning and if you had any idle issues after cleaning both TB's.

no its actually a piece of vinyl sticker/overlay that can be put on the lower half of the rear bumper within the curved are right above the exhaust tips, its for show and/or to add contrast to the bumper and make it look a bit sportier. Its cheaper than getting that portion painted.

whats a rear valance overlay..? like a rear window spoiler?

hey bailey, i actually saved many miles on my G since i was on a long vacation for the summer and then got myself a Fx35 as a DD so i am STILL around 52k and the belt seems fine for now for another few thousand miles but each car has different life spans on the belts depending on many factors

Otherwise our cars have a timing chain so you dont have to worry about changing that for atleast 100k and i have checked the belt a few times and if i remember right then I am 99.9% sure our cars just have one serpentine/drive belt and thats all you have to change and should be pretty easy with a diagram but make sure you ask someone on this forum who has already done this.

Quick questions because I know you got an answer. I'm about to hit 60k, I know your a bit ahead of me in mileage I believe. Have you changed your belts? I'm about to order my belts off line from infinitipartswarehouse and want to be sure I get the right ones. We DO have a timing chain correct? So I don't have to worry about that. But when the manual says change drive betls, how many do we have?
