The test pipes will be very resonating in the cabin. I would suggest high flow cats and you would definately want to do that before a custom tune.

Hey I have an 04 coupe with MD 5/16, ztube,jwt pop charger,md xyz pipe...I had the dual catback apexi n1 3'' which is why i had the bigger xyz pipe.. the sound was so loud i couldnt even hear myself think in the cabin so i left the xyz on but put my stock mid pipe and exhaust back on...
I love the sound of the stock exhaust with my current setup although it could be louder and I want to do all my bolt ons before I go in for my ecu reflash. I have a hook on some test pipes but I wanted your opinion if you think they'll make my exhaust sound cheap and really buzz like....my dilema is that with the 3inch xyz im sure test pipes for $50 could really free up flow from those stock Cats when I go in for the Dyno..
