    Great, thanks for the info. Got to get a decent amp next, then a set of paddle shifters.

    I actually use the paddles quite a bit. They're always on so whenever I need a quick downshift or an upshift earlier than the tranny is willing to do, I just use the shifters. In other words they work even when the shifter is in D, but the tranny will go back to full auto a few seconds after you use them unless you move the shifter into DS mode.
    They also help keep your hands on the steering wheel during "spirited driving", and double clicking the left paddle during normal cruising always brings on tons of fun as the tranny skips 4th and goes from 5th straight to 3rd blipping the throttle in the process. I was going to make a video after I installed them, but other projects got in the way. It is a real blast tearing up the backroads with the shifters, the car can go from a roaring beast to a subtle luxury sedan in a hearbeat as you approach city limits.
