The clearance strips are only equipped on 2003-2005 G35 coupe reflector style headlamps, since yours is a newer year you have the projector headlamps which don't have the strip. Instead, your headlamps have a city/parking light in the same part of the housing as the foglights which mine do NOT have.

I just bought 06+ projector headlights for my car and switched their city light to red, when I put them on the car ill post pics

If you really wanted the strip, you could buy 03-05 headlights and sawp them onto yours, but the projectors look way nicer, shame they didn't keep the strips, though.
