Window Tint in KC?
 

Hi, all. For those of you that live in or around the K.C. area, where's a reputable place for a window tint? Also, what kind of tint do you guys have on your cars? I'm a newbie when it comes to cars... Any input is much appreciated.

I went to midwest tint on shawnee mission pkwy. They give a lifetime warrenty(or as long as you own the car) and do very good work. I have 35% on the front and 20% on the rears, I guess it is legal now in KS to put 20% on the rear since all these new SUVs are coming with it stock. My brother has also used Precision tint on sante fe right by sante fe auto sound. If I get to wash my car this weekend I will take some pics of the car now.

Thanks for the info. The tint you got from Midwest, is it just a regular tint? Or did you go for the marguis (sp?)? I think it's $50 bucks more overall. So overall they quoted me around $215 for the upgrade, $165 for the standard. What about that Tokyo performance shop, are they still around?

If I remember right I just got the regular tint and with it split like I did it was $195 as long as my memory serves me correctly since it was last summer that I got it done. Honestly the only thing that I have ever gotten from tokyo image was light bulbs, everything else seemed a little high on prices and I have never seen any of their tint jobs either.

FYI, in Kansas 35% is the maximum tint you can have on any window. The reason why you see suv's darker than that is because it comes from the factory, which is an exception from state law.
