WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!

I guess that once I was able to purchase my new 06 6mt lakeshore slate coupe at cost I should have known that it was going way too nicely. By buying out of state and being military I don't have to pay sales tax due to non-residence. This is an even bigger bonus that should have clued me in to trouble to come. It was finally delivered today, after a shipping nightmare that you would not believe! A second shipping company got involved and nobody wanted to take responsibility for the interior of the vehicle, the drivers side seat, door, and the whole general area are just a mess! Thankfull my local infinity dealer is only going to charge $75 to detail the interior. I had to agree to accept the car as is or the driver was going to take it. I cannot blame him, he is just hired to deliver a car. I can only mark this off as a lesson learned. Now, I'm gonna go wash it!

where's the dirty pics at?

that is it dirty! I didn't take pics of the interior. I'll go do that in a minute.

Here she is after I washed her, twice. I left my camera at a friends house while on vacation last week so all I have is my phone to take pics with.

before any more "let the modding begin" comments are made let me say that I have stillen intake and exhaust waiting in the garage to be put on. I also have clear corners that will go on when I get it back from the dealer. The intake and exhaust will go on after it is broken in.

My camera reslution sucks so the dirty interior isn't showing up well. I got one pic of the door that showed up well.

if you look to the right side of the pic you can see a lighter smudge. the seat, seatbelt receiver, door panel, and anything else a driver would touch are smudged like that.

what the hell was the driver doing eating chocolate in 130 degree heat and wiping it all over your car?? Basically once the dirty spots are gone, you will be happy about saving thousands on tax :) Being that you served in the military I'm sure Uncle Sam won't mind a couple thousand lost in taxes LOL ;)

there is a fortune cookie that says, "that wasn't chocolate".

I am more than thrilled over all with the car. I just learned a few important lessons in shipping a vehicle. I could have shipped it to Hawaii for less! I know becasue I lived there for 5 years.

Tuesday I get the clear bra installed at Infinity!!! I'm not going to drive it much untill then.

now that you own a G35, its important that it is an infiniti and not an infinity G35...THANK YOU!!!

Drop, not likely with the entrance to my driveway being the way it is. A drop does look nice though!
