It's About Time.

So tomorrow is the day that I finally get my G. After about 4 months of searching for one I like I came across one that I fell in love with at first site, especially seeing her in person. :icon17:

Wanted this car since high school, and it's a dream come true.

My mechanic looked it over for me the other day, says it in great condition for its age and low miles as well which is a biggy. Runs great and sounds like a beast as well.

I paid the seller $6700 for it, which is very low based on what others were offering.

I already have a buddy who is helping me replace the window motors which costed me $120 for both and it also needs a new left control arm.

Overall I feel I got exactly what I was looking for, for a great price.

My goal is to save up and order myself an AAM Competition HFC in the next few months to make it sound a little louder and nicer. Also going to debadge the INFINITI on the bumper, would look much cleaner IMO. Aside from that, I can't wait to get behind the wheel tomorrow and show her off. :D

Yours is literally the only real one (i.e. non swapped) I've ever seen. Google image search it..you may find ONE. only made in 03/4 and very few even in those years. May wanna run your Vin to see if that's original. It may not be seeing as how your car (like mine) is a mix of parts from different years.

I have the carfax and I'm friendly with the previous owner. This is how he bought it back when it was first produced.

OEM parts/body everything (except for a few mods like intake etc..)

Can't believe it's really a rare car.

No it's not. Those wheels are from an 05+ sport package and the front bumper is from an 06+ sport package. The tail light and spoiler are 03-05 and the interior is 03/4. And that pinstripe is from east LA somewhere. It's a nice car, but it's not stock. Doesn't mean the interior isn't stock tho. It very well could be.

Oh well it's still a pretty car. Interior looks like new, I'm sure its stock.

No doubt, I have basically the same car. The sport bumper is WAY cooler and of course the rays are better wheels than what would have come on the 04. I'm almost certain your interior is stock, I (personally) would just be curious (if it were my car). Car looks great, I'm definitely not baggin on it.

Yea man the previous owner took very very good care of this car. Sadly this is my first manual car and the previous owner installed a JDT stage 1 clutch and flywheel, so the clutch is extremely heavy with a very high engagement point. Also since it has an aluminum flywheel when I sit in neutral it rattles around ALOT. Anyway to fix that? My mechanic said that it's normal.

nice car. you can fix the high engagement point. there is an adjustment on the pedal under the dash.

there is a "how-to" on the forum.

welcome..enjoy it.

I think the previous owner set it as high as it is. Since the clutch is so heavy I don't have to push it down so far to change gears. It's not bad actually, I'm adjusting slowly but surely.
