I call her Gina G. She's reaching nearly 300k Miles.
Recently tried to replace most of the front suspension...and it's been a rough start...all roads led here.
So here I am.

Awesome! Let us know if you need any assistance with suspension advice. It takes some time but the poly suspension bushing upgrade is worth it!

Welcome and congrats on having a high mileage G that's still up and running. If you're curious to know how long they can last check out this thread, it's his daily driver.

October 22, 2018.....280907....and still rides nice......well until tried changing the suspension myself and didn't realize I was missing the shims on the new control arms.
I started with tie rods and coil over struts...it went perfect...no problems but after a month..I knew I needed more replaced... I.feel like I should of done then all at once.

It Feels like I fixed the hips....and my knees and ankles were not strong enough to keep up with my jumping Jack's.

Finally realized that I needed the shims...got a Heat gun and pried of with a pickle fork..
Taking her In for a real alignment first thing this morning..actually getting to bed soon..

I'm excited too be here..thanks to all of you who have posted.
So far I've gotten lots of tips, tricks and info m...finally had to join. So thanks for having me.
