The title says it all!

I am a recovering Toyota Camry (former) owner. Also, I am a nursing student and hospital technician in SW Indiana. I am going to be working and going to school full-time for the next two years. With that in mind, I needed a car that would actually bring me some joy while I am driving constantly.

Basics: 1) 2011 with 70K miles; 2) 7-speed AWD; 3) Black exterior and interior; and 4) All options except sat/nav.

I have several questions:

First, the dealership is almost certainly going to put regular gas in her. Should I suck it up this one time, or put in some additive? What would you recommend?

Second, since I work in a hospital, I need decent floor mats. I will get the Weather Tech liners eventually (down payment blues). What would be a good interim set?

Third, this is a very clean car. The black concerns me. Best products for the exterior and the leather?

Fuel is fine, ECM has leeway to compensate for octane.

My new preferred exterior cleaner is Optimum No-Rinse wash and WAX. Followed by Optimum Opti-Seal every couple months (or more frequently, no harm in using more and it's a quick application), followed by Maguire's synthetic spray wax D156.

Very durable finish with excellent protection that is FAST AND EASY to apply.

With the ONR you will need to learn to 2-bucket wash, which you should do anyways. Doesn't waste water, get grit guards for both buckets, couple of good drying towels, a good wash mitt, couple of microfiber towels for applying the wax and use the foam applicator for the Opti-Seal.

The beautiful part of that particular product combo is it leaves the car slick for about 3 weeks, dust it daily with a California Car Duster and wash as needed depending on your conditions.
