I'm new here. Here's my new to me 04' G35 Sport!

Good evening y'all! I'm Shel, and this is my 2004 Infiniti G35 Sport 6MT. I just bought her this weekend for about $3500 which included tax, title, and a tag. 186K miles, needs work, but it's my first manual sports car! Black on Black, Brembos from the Factory along with the Sport 18in Wheels. Engine is smooth, Transmission doesn't grind or have any popouts either! This is going to be a restoration kind of project as mine does need work. I have a pretty severe oil leak as of today and I already ordered new parts including:
- Metal Valve Covers
- Valve Cover Gaskets w/ Spark Plug Tube Gaskets
- Intake Plenum Gaskets
- Lower Oil Pan Gaskets
- Hitachi Ignition Coils
- NGK Spark Plugs
- Mobil 1 5W-40 + Oil Filter

I have the work cut out for me, but there's nothing I probably couldn't learn on this new platform! What do y'all think?

Wow, smokin deal for a running car. Take care of it and don’t trash it and send it to the dump like so many of these cars usually do. Hope you learn a lot and enjoy the process. Look forward to seeing how it progresses.

Definitely going to fix it up, I’ve been told it’s pretty hard to find now!

Hi I'm new here and just picked my 03 up a few weeks back but she's a dream and she's so clean it's like it left the factory yesterday!! The best part about it is it only cost me a total of $2600 I love this car. For being 22 years old she rides like a brand new ride. Only 45k original miles I jumped all over it!!!
