Good Window Tint Co's in NOVA?

Hi Guys,

Longtime lurker here. Decided to finally participate in this fine forum since last night I became the proud new owner of a Black Onyx G35X! It will be ready for me to pick up either Fri. or Sat (can't wait!). The first thing I want to do is slap on a nice tint (never tinted any of my cars before, but think it would look great on my first black car :coolio: )

Anyways, I have been trying to use the search feature to find any posts on good tint shops in the Northern VA area, but I have been unable to find info on anyone that has gotten an 07' sedan tinted around here.

The finance guy at the dealership recommended LA Tint in Woodbridge. Has anyone gone there? And if so, how was your experience? How much did it cost you?

Anybody else care to recommend any other good tint shops in NOVA?

Thanks in advance!

I moved out of the area back in the '90s, so can't help you there, but
keep in mind the local laws. For Virginia (http://www.dmv.org/va-virginia/smog-check.php):

"Regular passenger vehicles may not have any tinting on their front windshields. Front side windows may be tinted to allow 50% or more of light to pass through, and rear side windows may be tinted to allow at least 35% of light in."

Post in the National G Section, its dedicated to NoVA, DC, MD Area. They have a hookup if you ask LEK in that section who does it cheap for members. I need to have mine done too. Also, I posted in there about a DMV waiver form that will allow you to go darker up front and the windshield if you have your optometrist sign it. Check it out....

I don't tint my car until at least one year later. I don't want anyone to touch/drive my car if it is too new except my dealer when they do service (no choice). No valet parking at hotel either.

judging by what randman said in a few posts up it looks like tinting the fronts is illegal. while i encourage obey most laws lol tint laws i just find hard to follow. Im in NJ and tinting the front driver and passenger side windows is illegal as well but i went ahead and got 20% anyway. Ive yet to have a problem in the 5 months its been on
