Angry I f'n HATE dealerships...

Bunch of Scumbags at NISSAN WORLD IN SPRINGFIELD NJ.... (Not really, just the people I dealt with, mainly the finance guy)

I WAS READY TO BUY A CAR TODAY, SOMEONE WAS GOING TO EARN A COMMISSION AND A DEALERSHIP WOULD'VE MOVED ANOTHER CAR TODAY...

But that did not happen....

To make a long story short, I found a '05 G35c w/ Nav, 6spd, 14Kmiles, clean CarFax going for 30,900... After some negotiations, got it to ~26K; OTD $28K.... Tax title, the whole shabang.... OTD $28K

They did the whole song and dance, I must've been there almost 3 hrs, and when the finance guy was "ready to see me", I guess I came in today with my "I'm a Dumbass" shirt on because he runs the numbers by me and I double check w/ my amortization calculator. First, I was already pissed at what interest rate he was tryinng to push - 8.71% for 72months :icon8: . Didn't say anything just plugged the numbers in>

His Numbers: $28K @ 8.71% for 72months ======= ~$561.

My numbers: Same thing==================== ~$500.59 :icon20

I tell him is figures are way off, he looks at his screen, and asks me If I'm right... Okay, plug numbers in again, $500.69...

"Oh" he says, "your total finance amount is $31,000 because of the 72 month warranty, and blah, blah, blah"(I stopped listening and was ready to rip his head off)...

Me: "I never discussed ANY of that stuff with Ken (the salesman) and I told him $28K OTD and no suprises or else we are just wasting our time." Anymore than that, I'd might as well splurge and get a new car

FinanceAss: "Are you sure OTD, w/ all this stuff (pointing to the sheet of extras"

Me: "OTD, 28K, no games"

a few seconds of silence....

Him: "Sorry" sticks out his hand for a "see ya" handshake....

Me: Up and out of the office shaking my head....

I get outside and see my Salesman smoking a cig, and as I walk by say, "I told you NO Suprises Ken" you almost had a sale....

His response: Okay......

Why don't these douchbags just honor what was agreed on? My wife is right, she's been telling me to get a New car, after tonight G37S looks like it with VPP pricing.....

Anyone in the Jersey area that can recommend a dealer?

It's probably better that you didn't get this deal because they were ripping you off with that price anyway. Even though it only has 14k miles it's still an 05 and you can get those anywhere private party w/ bank financing for under $25k. If you are willing to spend $28k on a used car, you would better off with a new one because of the lower interest rates (based on credit of course). I had a trade in and paid a cash difference for my G but it took me 5months get a good deal. If the dealers are going to screw you around, forget them and just be patient until another one pops up. Good luck with your search.

Nissan dealers can be really ****ty. I remember trying to purchase a Nissan with my G35 coupe trade in. I had this random salesman walk up to me and tell me my car was a piece of **** and I wouldn't get anything because it was modified. It had a stillen front end, Eibach kit and BBS wheels (and other mods he couldn't see). Nothing crap, nothing cheaply done. Few years later that guy has a little crappy sentra that he put some stupid no name booty coilovers on. I got my laugh.

Just get a 37...you will love it.

Picking her up tomorrow *crossing fingers* and finalizing the paperwork..... I think I'm going to drive over to NISSAN WORLD just to "check out their inventory"
