Well....if anyone is locally interested, i'm letting mine go for $200 plus your old bars. (We can do the swap here if you don't have another car it's pretty easy.)

Guys thats a good deal, these are the sway bars I have on my G, Besides Cusco sways they are the next best thing!

How's the ride (stiffness) of the Cuscos?

Halfass, are you trying to get your hands on the Hotchkis sways? I could help you with that.

adam if you have the sways at the end of the month adam ill swap with ya

halfass872 Feb 8, 2010 07:38 AM

Thanks for all the support guys!!

As of right now i MAY have a buyer (Joey, the guy with the black Z) but he's not 100%. So there is a posibility i'll still have these at the end of the month so i'll let you know.:)

And again, this is a one for one swap. My Hotchkis sways with hardware for your stock sways, with hardware. (by hardware i mean the bolts AND the brackes, NOT the endlinks) I'm assuming yal's stock sway's are the same "stiffness" as the Z's?

I'll be back to stock after this weekend, so the blower and all the goodies will be up for grabs by Sunday/Monday ish. The price will be significantly reduced if it goes to local buyer. (don't want to deal with shipping and Pay Pal fees if i don't have to!):JAMIN:

There is no ride stiffness with any sway bar, they just keep the body from rolling thur turns. With that being said Cusco sways bars are solid, while Hotchkis and every other sway bars are hollow.

Sports tuned suspension G's and Z are about the same, Sedans and 5AT's are 'less' stiff, but no major difference that anyone are really feel. Also I don't remember swaying the brackes to install my sways, but I could be wrong it was so long ago I upgraded.

Les if you end up doing the sway at your house let me know I'll swing by.

I'm pretty sure on either the front or the back (i think it's the front) there are new brackets used to go with the new bushings. I could be wrong, it's been a while. Either way, all my brackets and bushings will go with them, as long as i get the same in return.

halfass872 Feb 8, 2010 10:45 AM

FYI, i'm a first come first serve guy, and Joey knows that. So if Les or someone comes up with the money first, they are yours!

P.S. i have a set of brand new OEM endlinks laying around somewhere too. If i can find 'em, i'll throw em in for an extra $10 if anyone is interested.

PMed call me

If yal wanna coordinate this i have no problem with it. But be aware i've had ALOT of flakes lately, so i'm holding that $100 as a non-refundable deposit towards the final purchase price. (Nothing personal)

FYI, in order to do this though, i'm going to need the stock rubber bushings for the front. Otherwise i can just hold the deposit, and we can do a one for one swap at my place when you are ready. (It's easy to do, esp with two of us)

http://www.hotchkis.net/nissan_350z_...sway_bars.html

According to the instructions, i have Hotchkis bushings front and rear, and Hotchkis brackets on the rear. So i'll need the OEM equivilant when doing the swap.

To think, i tossed my old sways out less then a month ago!!!

I wanted to cry when i just saw how much these are new. I thought i paid ALOT less. I guess someone is gonna get an awesome deal!!
