who's running 285's in the rear on a coupe?
 

i wont be able to make it out to the meet on oct 1 but was wondering if anyone here has 285's and wouldn't mind if i checked it out in person. thanks.

If you want a good pic of the side profile of 285's look in the teck area under suspension/tires and look at my (rwcblkcoupe) post "35 series". another member posted a great pic of them.

It all depends on the offset. Im running 285's on a 10in. rim.

imalazeeass is running 285's on a 10.5 rim with a +18 offset

285 - 30 - 19 on a 10" wide rim

285's with 10.5 also ...

thanks for all the replies...i was thinking of getting the gt-s with +18 offset for the rear and running 285/35/19.

I had 285/35/19's on my red G Leon. It looks meaty. I had it on my 19x10 Lexions in the rear. If you like the strectched look, you don't wanna go with these.

^^^i'm trying to avoid the stretched look...btw, close game against wazzu! fight on!

Let me know when you might be around the city and we can hook up. I'm running 285's on 10.5" rims. I avoided going with the 275's because I wanted a meatier look around the lips of the wheels.
