Good point . . . Unfortunately, I think this is the case for many BA drivers. With regard to being cut-off, I wonder if these drivers are actually aware of their actions.

man you guys are cryin about Bay area drivers and LA drivers... i have lived in the Bay (east Oakland), SoCal (San Diego east side, and Orange County) but the worst drivers and roads ive ever seen have been in central Ca (Fresno) that place sucks... be glad you dont live there... i was mad at my mom for making me drive to get sushi even though she paid... my car was cut off about 15 times by those farmers and the roads had me bouncing all over the place... so until you go to Fresno you shouldnt really complain... wait... unless you go to Fresno or drive in East Oakland dont complain...

I'm moving back down in 2 years... I can hardly wait. I think it's a lot of foreigners up here, fresh off the plane... it's not that I'm being prejudice, but the other day, I saw a driver driving "in reverse" on 101! Looked like he missed his exit and rather than taking the next one, he threw his mini-van on reverse and this is during day time when cars were going minimum of the speed limit. And guess what he was... don't call me prejudice, I'm Asian too.

And one "foreigner" from Britain was driving in the wrong side of one of the main streets in Sunnyvale... I guess some habits are just hard to break. Luckily, there were no accidents.

Yup I hate 280 & 880 and I'm glad that I'm back to SoCal and nope you're not prejudice against DG nor f.o.b

Actually, Have anyone ever driven in the state of Texas?!? Now those are the worst drivers I've ever encountered. No disrespect to Texas, but they've already got weird roadway systems with their "access roads" and "turnabouts". Their freeways signs are so confusing. You have to slow actually slow down on the freeway to see read the signs. And to top it all off, I don't if they have a rule or something but on several occasions drivers would nearly come to a complete stop on the ONramp before getting on the freeway!

The worst driving I've ever experinced was my first trip from Edmonton to Calgary. The roads in the middle of the day are like ours at 3am. People passing gave me a heart attack each and every time. They come up behind you, tailgate, pass within inches of your bumper, then merge in front of you with inches to spare. They essentially make a box around you. It freaked me out and I'm used to SF traffic getting on the bay bridge at night.

Usually no problem. May be it's how I drive. I do notice that contruction worker types in big V8 trucks like to show me how fast they can go (in a straight line). I find that amusing and wave at them from behind my tinted leather lined enclosure.
