Bent my Volk's.help.!

Due to the heavy rain the last few weeks and numerous potholes I've hit, I just noticed that one of my rims is bent left rear driver's side 19" rims...ugh...

Is this fixable?

I've gotten quotes for $60.00 - $120.00 range?
Is that about right?
Place called Wheel Works in Oakland anyone ever use them...?

Also, do I need to have this issue fixed or is it ok to still drive on the bent rim?

I got two of my iForged inner lips fixed at Rite-Way Wheel in Walnut Creek.
(925) 933-4046

They fixed them right up. I paid like $300 but they also polished all 4 rims/lips and did a remount and balance of the tires.

Good luck Bob

^+1 on Rite-Way. I had the same thing done there.
They do great work.

gyal8r has volks which have anodized lips. if they repolish, it'll strip the anodizing and won't match the rest of the 3 wheels.

Aren't they right off of Mt. Diable Blvd, on Alpine is it?

^Yep, so he will need to tell them to just fix it. I don't know if a polish is part of the process when it comes to fixing a wheel. I had bends on the inside and requested the polish for mine.

Yes Mike, thats the one off of Alpine.

I used to work at Alliance right there across the street. I've seen the shop numerous times before but wasn't sure if it was it or not. It's so small, I'm surprised people can even find it.

That's suck, Bob.

Join the club Bob, I bent mine a few weeks back on my Volks. I may have to have mine polished as it also had some curb rash so yeah one rim is going to look different to the rest due to no anodizing on the lip

Hopefully, you will have the wheel repaired to like new condition, Bob. Good luck. ;)

ask how many ppl he needs.

rite way did good work on my wheels, but be warned, they did not properly install my rims back on my car. the lug nuts weren't torqued properly AND they didn't put enough air in my tires. very disturbing... i would probably use them again but give them a hard time about how they let me leave last time and be anal about that stuff before leaving again.

wheel techniques are pretty good, i have gone to them twice, but they are quite expensive. http://www.wheeltechniques.com/

Rite-way has fixed my Volks at least three times... and I haven't noticed anything different about the lip's shine. I've been to wheel techniques too... they are expensive but do good work (Rite-way actually recommended them when they couldn't get one of the dents out in the middle of one of my barrels)
