I think I'm outgrowing the high cost of taking my car to the dealership for regular maintenance. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Nissan dealerships are that much better.

I'm looking for a private mechanic/shop that's GOOD ENOUGH FOR OUR G's (if you know what I mean -- otherwise, I could take it to any corner shop) to do my regularly scheduled maintenance and not get completely ripped to shreds in my wallet.

Specifically, I need to replace compression rods ($326 @ Infiniti), clutch ($2,500 @ Infiniti), and valve covers ($1500 @ Infiniti). Looking for a place that will do good work on our cars without the rip off price.

East Bay preferable (specifically, I live in Oakland/San Leandro) -- but SF is acceptable if your recommendation is strong enough to be worth the trip.

He's an expert when it comes to maintenance work for G's ..Heck, he made TONS of DIY videos to teach other people how to do the work

 

regular maintenance but he sends all mods and bolt ons to me lol
