243 heads from an LS2. Should be good for 20+hp on my ls1. I am going to clean these up, polish, and put some high lift springs and roller rockers. I think it will go nicely with a phat cam...

Just checked the casting numbers. I have an LS6 block!! About 15% of the blocks in 01 fbodies were ls6 castings. and now i have 243 ls6 heads. I am exited now i am building a LS6. Doesnt really change much besides the strength of the bottom end around the mains.

I just bought som Clevite 77 H series NASCAR cam bearings. The block is going to the machine shop in 2 weeks to be bored and honed...Then some engine paint and some super sexy engine pictures as the build will finally be able to start.
