So here it is guys. May beloved Z is on the trading block or for sale. This build took about 15 months and just completed 7/17/12 where car made 516/513 @ wheels on final tune. Most of the work was done by Z-Fever in Tampa . I have a stack of receipts for most of the stuff listed below. Car has a clean title and A/C blows ice cold. Car was built to be a daily driver but with double the horspower. Lots of fun and has never been tracked or launched by me in the 2.5 years I have owned it.
Had a kid during the build time and now the wife is pregnant again. The 2 seater has to go and looking for something with a back seat. Looking for boosted S14, VIP, possibly domestic with V8, STI, Evo, M3 or really anything cool I can put a couple of car seats in the back of. Not in a hurry as the second one is not due for several months. But if the right deal comes along can move quickly. Chassis has 75k miles & 5k on build. My commute to the office is 120 highway miles round trip so miles will go up.
The Good:
Engine/drivetrain:
Wiseco 8.8:1 low compression pistons
Eagle Forged Rods
ACL Race Bearings
Cosworth headgaskets
Stock heads resurfaced
Block redecked
ARP holding it all together
Midmount Precision 6262 ball bearing turbo
modified Boosted Performance oil resevoir
Turbowerx scavenger pump (way overkill)
Custom 3" intake
Tial Wastegate (external dump)
APS extended oil pan
APS FMIC
Megan Racing Headers
APS dual exhaust
Synchronic BOV
Z Fever fuel return system
650cc Deats Injectors
Walbro 255
Competition Clutch Stage 4
Jim Wolf lightened flywheel
Suspension/Brakes:
BC Racing Coilovers BR Series
Hotchkis 3 way adjustable Swaybars
SPL rear toe arms
StopTech BBK upfront with brand new StopTech slotted rotors & new pads
New bushings for front control arms
Wheels/Tires/Exterior:
19" Varrstoen 1.1.2 hyper black
9.5" & 10.5" +12 offset all the way around
245/35/19 Bridgstone RE11's up front
285/30/19 Continental Extreme Contact DW almost new
Rolled rear fenders - no rubbing or paint cracks
Carbon fiber rear diffuser
Front lip
Interior:
Nismo shift ****
Eclipse CD/DVD/Navi w/ rear camera
Kenwood speakers
10" Alpine sub under rear cross-brace
Kenwood Amp
Tuning:
Osiris tuned at 14.5 psi
UPREV MAF
AEM truboost controller and boost gauge
The Bad:
Small crack in front bumper thanks to a valet the day after I bought the car (picture to follow)
A few dings here and there that you would expect from a car of this age (pics to follow)
Control arm bushings squeek a little
I cycle the key on and off 3-4 times after I park the car so the scavenge pump removes all oil from turbo & resevoir. Not really bad just thought you should know.
I will also jack the car up and get pics of the turbo setup. Feel free to PM, email or call/text. Shoot me offers and let me know what you guys have for trade. As for price, looking for $17,750 OBO. Over $20k of parts and labor have been put into this car over the last 15 months plus the cost of the car. It may not be for everyone so please keep negative comments to a minimum.
Thanks for looking,
Jeremy
