I like the looks.. but don't you have to be concerned about changing the angle of the half-shafts and CV joints? You change the geometry of many suspension components when you drop.

from the sounds of it, you aren't really into modding cars. About the only usually needed with a 1" drop is some camber adjustment....and sometimes, there is enough room in the factory adjusters to compensate for the minor drop.

The half shaft and CV joint issues you are speaking of are something that needs to be addressed when going to extremes in either lowering or raising vehicles,........not on a simple cosmetic lowering.

I've modded plenty of cars in my time. I have learned much over the years from modding. One of the best lessons I learned about modding is that just because they make some aftermarket parts doesn't mean it's for the better.
I'm not implying that the above mod is bad, just relaying some of my experiences.
I modded just about every car I bought. Many to the point that driveability was compromised. I usually overpowered the car and was left with handling not up to par with the power.
The only car I didn't mod was my Z06. No need for mods and it was the most balanced car in power and handling.
I doubt I will do anything to the G35. I like it fine in stock form.
