Why yes...They are 20x11's!!

Got my 20x9.5 +15 & 20x11 +25 Work Varianza T1S yesterday from Rick @ Status! No rubbing probs or anything... the wheels sit flush with the fenders! I went with 245/35 & 275/30 because I like the stretch look... Thanks for looking!

i rarely like black wheels...but these are dope!

please tell me you slam it for shows, tho. :)

Wheels look good, but just like i told dan (sflg35) why the hell do you guys put a tire that does not "fit" on the rim? I don’t get the look of having the rims lip hang out a 1/4 inch past the tire  There is not point in ordered an 11" wide rim if you are only going to put a 275 tire on it  - do it right and wrap it with a 295 so your rim is less prone to being damaged. It doesn’t help in performance at all - you would be better off getting the same wheel in a 9" width and wrapping it in a 275 tire - at least then you will save unsprung weight and at least have a tire that fits.

But i guess to each their own  Sorry for the vent!

sean, i see where you are coming from. but it's different strokes for different folks. i love your bronze on black setup, but i know a lot of people that would think you're an idiot for "ruining" your car like that.

correct me if i'm wrong, but i think his car is primarily a show car. i'm sure performance is a factor, but as a show car there are certain things you must sacrifice.

Im sure there are a lot of people that do not like it eaither, but thats just the color...atleast my tires fit the rims. If you look at the rear of his car you can see the edges of the rim on both the inside and outside....i just don't get that.

I think with a show car you would want the car to be proportional in every way. Hence if you have wide rims you need tires that fit. Im sure a judge doesn't want to see a tire that doesn't fit in anyway on the rim...???

its all about 22's!

Nismo G Sep 1, 2007 01:47 PM

ok here is what im venting about - why put an 11" wide rim if you are putting a tire that fits on a 9.5" width rim? I mean it had no advanatages at all...the rim/tire combo is going to sit flush with the fender either way.

20x11 with 275 tire - sits flush with the fender

20x10 with 285 tire -sits flush with the fender

20x10.5 with a 295 tire is going to sit flush with the tire

Get where im going? in the long run the rims and tires are all going to equal out...

Sorry for the thread jack

I agree. That dude on here who had the 22's then switched to 20's with a rediculous offset (which looks bad in itself) has his tires stretched all to hell. I think it looks weird and cheap personally.

....of course, I'm all about having 19s-20s with some meaty looking tires. Check out aheros car, hes got bigger tires and I think they look waaaaaay more aggressive than a stretched tire does.

That being said, I think the thread starter's car looks so much better than it did in the past. Your car has come a long way dude and its looking hotter all the time!

looks badass!

Im with the guy on this one. Im sorry but i dont like how rims have meaty tires. it makes it look like a truck. I would rather have the car with stretched tires.
+100000000000000000000 your car looks great.
