I'm a fan of both cars
Here is my 2005 GTO, and my buddy/co-worker's 2007 G35S. Both cars are riding on Eibach springs that we installed. I am running 18" TSW Thruxtons with 275's in the rear. The front air splitter is my own design, and provide them for many in the GTO community. I have a few bolt-ons and I'm putting down 355hp at the wheels. He is running 19" 5 zigens, also with 275's in the rear. From the first time I rode in his G I fell in love with it. I love it so much that I am really thinking about buying it from him! Hope you guys enjoy.

I've never been a fan of the Thruxtons, on any car. I think your GTO could do much better. It's got a lot of potential. The wheels on the G35S compliment the car well, but could use better offsets.

GTO owners allways think there sh1t is sooooooooo hot the "MUSCLE" car mentality. hope you dont have one. glad to see you have a import friend.
leave the wheels stock those make the car look worse. |
Love the gto's, they are nice and understated especially for LS powered cars!
Like others have said the TSW wheels just make a bad statement about your car. They are super cheap, heavy, vulnerable to easy bends, and don't offer much in the style department either. Other than that I really like your car! The drop is just right and the tint is great :) Go back to the stockies son! |
I like the GTO, and I may add one as a second car. But I have never seen a after market wheel that compliments the GTO.
It looks better stock. |
Nice Goat :) Hope everything is still going well over at LS2GTO.com!
Man, I miss the days when power came easy. You can't get d!ck out of these VQ's without spending well over $10,000 in FI and a built motor :( http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...38_96_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...38_99_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...38_78_full.jpg |
GTO needs to look more sporty.
Good car overall but not sporty enough. Nice pix |
clean gto. needs better wheels though.

GTO is sweet. Love it.

The top speed of a bone stock LS2 GTO with the limiter removed is 167mph. And at that speed, it's solid and stable. Their handling caracteristics are BETTER than a G by a long shot, and they obviously make a LOT of power - some guys over at LS2GTO.com making 650rwhp on the stock motor relatively safely. HUGE aftermarket for these cars in both power and handling. In the same token, the GTO won't hold a candle to the beauty and luxury of a G35, so it's all in what you like. I missed the import luxury/look (and was having some self-inflicted issues with the local authorities ;) ), so I got a G35. |
