how big of a PITA is it to keep stretch tires at 40 PSI? i mean, do you guys check pressure every week or something like that?

i'm asking cuz i'm still debating between 35 series (225/255) or 30 series (245/275) tires. i don't wanna lose pressure and end up like donpisto.

 

i dont have any problems with them, hehe but i has tpms and on top of that i have my little tire pressure gauge and in case something bad happens i have this nifty little tire inflater but honestly its not a problem for me, i only had a problem when i got the screw in my tire

but yah ur suppose to check like every week (i don't, shame on me)

 

My problem was that I didn't check my tires at all..not even as you would normally. Had I done that it would have been fine. I hope people don't think that with my incident you have to constantly (daily) check the air pressure. That's not needed. It is good to check it once a week though and it doesn't take that long...just don't be lazy and careless like me.

If you want the aggressive look, go for it. There's so many people running stretched tires and so little incidents. Not to mention, I had an extreme stretch... 225/35 on a 10.5.

 

Dre, where were those pics taken? Behind the green poles or whatever, is there an escalator or something?

oh ok, yeah i'm not planning to run aggressive stretch, just mild... 225/35 on 9.5 and 255/35 on 10.5.
