The wheels posted are Vip Modulars. Is there something wrong with those wheels? I just like the way the wheels look. I'm not into brands.

from what I've heard, VIP Modular is a joke too. You won't get a good price or decent delivery time unless you're one of their friends.

They're insinuating that the price on the wheel is not worth the build quality.

Example: spending $5000 on a set of Rotiform versus spending $2800 on a set of Volk wheels.

What about Dpe's? Aren't they around 5k as well? That sucks that you get treated differently if you're not part of their crew.

I can only say from personal experience with DPE. But they communicated with me throughout the entire process and upon delivery, one of the owners didn't like how my faces came out...

So rather than taking them back, I was given(in writing) a promise to refinish the faces whenever I wanted. They'd rather have a happy customer than money in their pockets...so to speak.

Wow!! That's the kind of people I would rather deal with. As far as prices for their wheels, are they in the 5k range as well? Not asking exactly what you paid for, just trying to get a ball park figure.

Thus why I have no problem supporting replicas. I simply want the rim for the design, Id rather spend $200-500 on a rim and not worry about replacing it WHEN i bend it or break it. That really sucks though...hopefully I could find a used set but that's like finding a needle in a haystack (I actually found a used pair on the Lambo forum, but the lippage is weks0s. Ugh

I did that once. Ran from Birmingham to Charlotte NC on about -5 to -7 degrees, the toe was so bad all you could smell driving down the interstate was burning tires. lol Went from tread, to second level of wire inside of 400 miles.

Thankfully I was picking up another set of wheels/tires. Removed the spacers, had it aligned before my trip back. It will be the last time I make a trip like that. Currently I'm somewhere between -3 to -4ish, but the toe is decent.
