I'm bout to post a local guy's car, these pics were taken by a few local members at our recent meet. Dave I hope I'm not outta line posting pics of your sweet ride, but given the fact you're not a forum guy yet you got one of the sickest wheel setups you will find on a G coupe, I just had too.
His wheels are Weds Kranze 20's in the front and 21's in the rear, and he told me he had to wait 8 months to get them from Japan, plus the car is supercharged AND he did all the work himself, you gotta respect that.
By the way I'm about to join the club here personally within the next month, my 20's are days away from being delivered, somewhere in Utah right now making it's way up here, I just tracked it, heh, then another 2 weeks or so me friggin around with the perfect tire and spacer combo to really set if off and get it nice and aggressive. I can't wait!

There are some really nice rides/pics in this thread. There are also soooo many that just simply DO NOT BELONG in this thread. Wish I could go through and delete the ones that fall into the latter category...

Gdup35sedan 04-08-2008 04:01 PM

the size of your labia's doesnt justify an aggressive setup... how it sits adjacent to the fender dictates whether or not your wheel/tire setup is aggressive. You can show me a 10" lip but if the wheel is still tucked in the fender, its not aggressive.

Look at all the pictures in here that i havent commented on as NOT being aggressive and those are what yours should look like. If they dont (which yours do NOT) then your pictures dont belong in this thread.

Wait!! this is coming from a guy who didn't start this thread...Where is your Aggressive Setup? I can show More pics. But your the only person thats saying thats its not agressive enough, For you. I have had to get my fenders almost rolled flat and the wheels are still rubbing. So do me a Favor. Compliment the wheels and move on. What Kind of wheels do you have again?

Ralph0064 04-08-2008 04:17 PM

come on now...dont start that. Obviously you do not understand the meaning of the "aggressive" setup as dictated in this thread. If you look at some of the cars here, they're running super sick offsets with a stretched tire & alot of camber. I saw your wheels in person, but there were pretty flush with the fenders.

Nice wheels and all BUT in this particular thread it doesnt qualify bro.

sorry bud. big lips dont qualify as aggressive. AGGRESSIVE NOT FOUND!!!!!

I dont have an aggressive set-up, but i am dumpt. So therefore you wont find pics of my car in here till i get my new setup. Which will aggressive

I posted my car on here because I felt as tho it was aggressive to me. That does not make Not Aggressive because you dont think so. Like I said before these comments are coming guys who are not putting there (Aggressive Setup) on there Cars on this thread)

Since thats the Case on a 20" x 10.5" wheel Whats an Aggressive Offset?

haha, please dude, i dont have to start a thread to know what aggressive is and how to do it right. I get PM's everyday from people asking me what offsets/tire sizes and such to get to have the perfect aggressive offset. So try that one again. I dont have to have wheels to know my $hit because i've done the most aggressive offset on any sedan on this site.

I never said your wheels arent nice, they are gorgeous wheels, they just arent AGGRESSIVE, how hard is that to understand???

Oh yeah, if you dont want your setup to rub, you need to run a little more negative camber or get new tires :thewave:

+5 would be the perfect offset with a 275/30 tire and -2.5 camber.

And i rest my case, you've got the next 2 people that post in this thread aggreeing with me that your setup is not AGGRESSIVE.

simple way to settle this - what are your sizes, offsets and camber?

Gdup35sedan 04-08-2008 04:37 PM

lol, the offsets are too high, the tires are too wide and he doesnt have enough camber, i can see all of that from the 3 pictures he posted.

i would have to agree

i run a 20 x 11 in the rear with a 285 30 20 and -4 degrees of camber and i still rub. sucks bout melted the paint off the fender the other day with 3 people in the car. white smoke everywhere. lol time for some 275 30 30 tires!!

what he said. I was on of the guys that pm'd him about a set-up to make sure it was going to work. Dont get me wrong bud ur wheels are nice, they just arent what the title of the thread is about.

Anyways on to more aggressive set-ups/ strecthin tires

Oh! by the way i rollz dumpt!!!

Infinite1 04-08-2008 05:03 PM

19x11.5+18 SL disk with the 123mm lip would have been the aggressive sp1 setup. I was almost going to order a pair of those and move my 9.5's up front

It's funny you mention that red...after i put my wheels on i was thinking maybe i should've gotten and 11 or 11.5..oh well...

SIN3 04-08-2008 06:01 PM

anyone here running something crazy like 10 or 10.5 all around?

im so tempted to do this. just get a high pad fitment for the front and low pad for the rear.

SFLG35 04-08-2008 06:04 PM

i have 20 9.5 A (low) disk front 20 11 O (super low) disk rear. i kinda wish i went with a 10 front but o well. why do you need a high pad front? do you need to clear a bbk?
