I got the orange duct tape at Orchard Supply Warehouse, They have many colors to choose from. Not that cheap though. Gray duct tape is a much better value.

I'll just stick with the blue. You have a reason to try and keep it orange. I am only going to have it on there for a couple days. Thanks for the info though!!

Duct tape??? Wouldn't that leave a lot of adhesive residue? Blue painter's tape FTW

I am surprised that people put on painters tape on their cars to avoid scratches, i would think the tape would damage the paint more....

Interesting...

Blue painters tape is low adhesion, so it doesn't damage paint. that is why people use it.

I am about to do this over the weekend or on Monday for the trip to WA. For those that have done the tape up job are there any specific tricks or tips I should know about? Did you just do a single layer of tape or several? Any comments would be very appreciated. This will be my first tape job so I want it to be done right. Thanks all!!!

damn! all these rides are awesome.

i had fresh paint, taped up mine before a long trip, and while at the gas station this lady told her husband, "how sad...look hunny...he probably spends so much money on his car payment that he can't even pay to have his bumper fixed. he has tape holding it all together!"

i couldnt help to LMAO
