After looking at the night shots, the LEDs on the bottom seem out of place... but the reflection at the top of the vent looked alright.

Maybe you should keep the LEDs at the bottom and have them shine upwards.

Crappy chop:

^^ You mean kind of a glow effect? I thought about doing that, but would probably need LEDs across the bottom to pull that off

I think a single/thin strip of leds across the whole top section would look better than the 2 rows

doesnt look good mounted on top. either leave them where they are or CENTER them in the ducts.. If they were right in the middle as parallel as possible to both the upper and lower line of the duct it would look killer. I built some LED housings for a nismo bumper designed to be installed like that but never did get to put them on

the strip I got came in rows of two because it was supposed to simulate the look of the bigger chunk LEDs of the S6. At night, it looks very much like one row of chunkier LEDs, instead of two rows. You can kind of see this in the last of the night pics that i posted. I actually prefer this look to the think strip of LEDs, which looks kind of cheap, especially at night, imo.

I think it would look better at the top of the openings instead of the bottom. Also if it was more of a solid line with the leds evenly spaced apart instead of grouped into 3

2 more sets of 3 in each duct would complete the look imo but really a night shot is needed. a far off night shot.

EDIT: saw the night shots and i loved it on the bottom with a full strip or set. i know others didnt but i loved it. i didnt really like it on top but the bottom was tight.

I don't think they look bad. But im just not feeling them. It's unique, but it just seems a little out of place.

the straight LEDs will emphasize the top of the opening not being straight as it should've been.

not feeling the concept
